April 14, 2015

The E2BN Think IT service provides schools, colleges and universities with access to many of the market-leading products available within the education sector, to make teaching and learning a more fun and interactive environment.
Framework Partners at the recent E2BN Think IT Partners Day
Based on the premise of anytime, anywhere and on any-device, the E2BN national framework delivers a host of educational cloud-based solutions that enable schools to select the right applications based on the outcome requirements of the students, staff, parents and governors.
As part of E2BN’s national framework of suppliers, BioStore has been selected to provide the solution for cashless catering and online payments, which under an EU tendered procurement framework, ensures Value for Money on the investment required to implement new technology.
The introduction of the Universal Infant Free School Meal scheme launched in September 2014, and the ongoing requirement to manage Free School Meals, BioStore’s FasTrak Cashless Catering solution meets both requirements to manage and reclaim Pupil Premiums from the school’s Local Authority.
FasTrak also provides an on-line payment portal, allowing parents and students to pay for school meals, trips, clubs and extra-curricular activities by topping up their account using either a credit or debit card, or with cash at a local PayPoint store.
Nigel Walker, Managing Director of BioStore, commented:
“We will provide schools looking to purchase new technology through the E2BN framework, with an innovative and competitive product range that will help to make schools more efficient by reducing administration, and delivering a service that will benefit the school, students and parents.”
“As a trusted supplier to over 3000 schools and looking after 3 million users every day, we are confident in our ability to deliver a highly specified and cost effective solution that is quick, reliable and robust. We look forward to working with E2BN Think IT, and all framework partners in providing solutions that streamline schools and reduce their costs to help ensure they maintain their high levels of educational attainment.”
Neil Watkins, Director of WCL, the company that will be delivering E2BN’s Think IT Framework and who are experts in the field of Change Management in the education sector, had this to say about the partnership:
“We are delighted to be able to offer BioStore FasTrak as E2BN’s Cashless Catering & Online Payment solution for the E2BN’s Think IT Framework. This partnership will ensure that we are able to deliver a full spectrum of services across the education sector, which is aimed at increasing attainment, improving behaviour and engagement among students, teachers and parents.”
